For the Parents

A parent is their child’s first teacher and should remain their best teacher throughout life.  The school is merely an extension of the home.  The school provides the instruments for learning, while the majority of learning happens at home.  On-going research shows that family engagement in schools improves student achievement, reduces absenteeism, and restores parents‘ confidence in their children’s education.  The proper role of the parent is to provide encouragement, support, and access to activities that enable the child to master key developmental tasks.
